The material is a ribbed stretch knit. It's a bit thicker than I anticipated but I still love the style. The snaps for breast access are located on each shoulder which is great because you don't have to take down both straps to breastfeed. I ordered a Medium and love the fit (I'm 5'2, 30 weeks pregnant, 34DD).
