Holly Thaggard, CEO and Founder of Doctor T's Supergoop! recognized the importance of teaching children sun safe habits and built her company around the need shortly after a close friend was diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 29. A mother and former Episcopal school teacher, she developed this idea conceived in 2001 into the 2004 launch of a two-fold program developed both to teach fundamental sun safety in the classroom and encourage practical application of a sun safe product for the entire family on a daily basis.
