I've had three babies and have perfected breastfeeding-on-the-go, but it wasn't always this way. When I was a new first time mom I was nervous about breastfeeding while out and about. I wondered if people would look at me, and I was self conscious in my postpartum body. I remember struggling with covers and trying to work with multiple shirts to keep myself feeling covered. When my baby is hungry the last thing I want to do is mess with trying to pull my shirt up or down, or pull out a cover. I believe this draws more attention and makes feeding on-the-go harder than it needs to be.
