The Catbird Baby mei tai is so versatile - it can be worn on the front with baby facing in or out, on the hip, or on your back. With just a little practice, the tying methods quickly become second nature. The back carry position is recommended for 5-6 months and up. Carry your baby front facing forward when he or she can support his or her head.
The mei tai has many innovative features that babies and parents love! The base fabric is a supersoft 100% brushed cotton that is sturdy but snuggly. The print panel features stylish and popular cotton quilting designs from makers such as Alexander Henry, Michael Miller, Free Spirit, and Amy Butler. The hideaway hood can be stuffed entirely into the carrier body when not in use, or, stuff a burp cloth inside to make a head pillow!. The completely unique elastic adjustment loop enables you to adjust the width of the carrier as much or as little as needed to get the perfect fit for your baby's legs each time.
