Customer Reviews of Avery Organic Cotton Maxi Nursing Dress

I really wanted to love this dress...Unfortunately I think it's best suited to maternity wear. There is too much extra fabric in the mid-section, which makes it unflattering post partum. The length was perfect for me, but I'm short. Based on reviews, I ordered a large, and I'm pretty sure I would have fit into a medium. However I returned it b/c I'm sure the medium would have also had the same extra fabric in the midsection area. 11 weeks post partum, nursing (36D), 5'4", 155 lbs.

The inside is a v-shape around your neck and part of the stitching came undone, I’ve only had it a few days. (I don’t know much about sewing but the inside has one line of thread running through it, where as the rest of the dress has two). I feel that the sewing should be a little stronger in the area you will be pulling down constantly) Other than that I LOVE the dress; the feel, the way it fits, everything!

Meh.. the chest part seems to be tighter than the rest of the dress and I have the correct size according to the chart. If I size up, the chest might fit but it would be too long and large everywhere else. Not so sure about this and while update when I start wearing in the summer. Love that it’s organic. Needs more color options (green, red?).

I've only worn this a few times and have already gotten compliments on it. People have wondered how I was going to nurse in it but, of course, it is made for that! Hides my post-baby belly without making me look still pregnant. Love it!

I liked the top of the dress and the fabric feels great. Note that it kind of has its own shape and is not form fitting. It is too short for me - all sizes are the same length and I am almost 5'-10" - so I will be returning this dress.

I can't tell you how much I love this dress! I purchased a M, I wear a size 6 and am 5'2", and it fits perfectly. Modest and classy. Pairs well with a denim jacket.

Great nursing staple. Comfortable and versatile. Stretchy in boob area for bigger nursing breasts which is key.
